Business Development Manager

We believe that you are keen to develop your leadership skills, can quickly familiarize yourself with our customers' business needs, and skillfully identify opportunities to support their learning and digital development. 

As a Business Developer Manager at Stellar Capacity, you will be acting as a true change agent for the clients we engage with. You will lead the process of understanding their digital learning needs (supported by our research team) and will work together with our colleagues to propose a program to help the leaders and employees of the client organization to accelerate their digital learning. Previous examples of program modules include data analytics, data visualization, introduction to AI, digital culture and leadership, as well as digital innovation. You will also act as the clients' main point of contact as the program is being implemented and you will manage the Stellar team delivering it. Furthermore, you will be responsible for both establishing new customer relationships as well as conducting strategic sales to our clients for various digital learning programs.

You will be involved in driving the engagement with clients from start to finish for individual projects and for strategic learning programs. You will lead project team members and interact with colleagues in marketing, research and program development to ensure that it produces purposeful and impactful results for our clients. You will also be advising clients through their digital transformation based on their specific needs. 

The role offers ample opportunities to learn about different aspects of digital transformation and to collaborate with our program faculty members who are some of the most established experts in the field.


The qualifications we are looking for:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales or similar roles. More senior candidates are also welcome to apply.

  • Experience in management consulting or similar roles. You can quickly learn about an idea, concretize it and develop a proposal from start to finish to carry the idea to the client. 

  • You have a background in working for a digitally oriented company and have a digital mindset as well as a good understanding of behaviors in a digital context.

  • You have a degree in engineering or in business and economics or a similar background.

  • You are dynamic and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • You have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Swedish as well as English. You are passionate about using language as a tool to communicate your thoughts and ideas.

  • You have a learning mindset and a genuine interest in technology, digitalization, and leadership.

  • As a person you’re energetic, result-oriented, personable, highly-motivated and capable of motivating others, and you have excellent problem-solving skills.

  • You have a strong drive to make a difference in the world through your work along with everyone else on our team!
